The Abbotsford Juniors Football Club has possession of Lysaght Park and a formal pre-season training schedule for this field is now in effect.  If your team wishes to train on either of these grounds from Tuesday 13th February, you must ensure you have booked a training time with the Club at teamtraining@abbotsfordjuniorsfc.com.au.

Please Read On
At this time, Cricket maintains control over the lease of Campbell Park and has first right of use for the months of February and March.  Teams are free to use the fields when not utilised by Cricket but teams failing to move on when requested by to do so by a Cricket team wishing to train or behave inappropriately may find themselves sanctioned by the Club at the request of Council.  Repeated instances may see the Club’s pre-season field access revoked.

Additional pre-season training access to Campbell Park Field 3, extending formal training opportunities for teams will be available from Tuesday 12th March.

Confirming that the Club Shed will not be staffed or open until 2 weeks prior to season kick-off when regular season training will commence on Tuesday 26th March.
 
Regular Season Training Bookings
Regular season training bookings will open Wednesday 6th March for training sessions from the week commencing 26th March. Please note that teams are free to request the same day and time for regular season training however there is no guarantee that the team will be in the same location for the regular season.  Regular season training bookings will open and be scheduled once the Club understands how many teams we need to cater for in 2024 and will be confirmed to all teams 2-3 weeks prior to the regular season kick-off.

Important Note for Coaches and Team Managers
Please ensure that you conduct your training sessions in accordance with any guidelines issued by the Club during the year.  It is also important that you stick to your allocated training time and pitch (unless organised and approved by the AJFC Committee).  Finally, you should ensure that your pitch setup and pack-up is completed within your allotted training timeslot.
